Molly was a wonderful Great Dane mix who went to the Bridge last summer at the age of 13 and a half. Molly remained exeptionally healthy, happy, and active right up until her last day of life. She is pictured her at age 12 on one of her many camping trips taken with her owner.

(our Sunny's Niece)
We got Deagan went he was 6 or 7 years old,
breeder wasn't sure, as they sold him as a pup and his owners divorced and had to place him and another dane, we got him one year after his sister, this making him our second Great Dane.
Deagan was crated almost all of the time, which I believe contributed to his legs being so bad, when we got him, we babied him to no end, and between that and good food he continued to do better but has always had troubles.
We have tken in danes along the way, some to foster which didn't make it due to bad health etc. but he was always kind and sweet, and if there was a puppy he was the one to showe them the ropes :)
Now at the ripe age of 13 he is having many more problems due to size weight and age, but in general is fairly healthy, and doing great! We have been told euthanizing would be the best, I think because the vet is trying to save us from having to move our 170 lb baby when he passes, which we hope isn't soon :(
I have a crazy schedule trying to keep up with alot of the needs he has and also my daughters (which is severaly handicapped) but find the time, strength and energy everyday to do it, gotta keep him as long as we can, Love him so very much!
